Resources
The Center for South Asia Studies serves as a resource for teachers and administrators, community colleges, and regional government, media, and businesses. We are also engaged in an ongoing partnership with selected North Carolina International Baccalaureate Schools to expand learning about South Asia across the curriculum.
The Center offers a number of teacher traning programs designed for the K-12

Additional Opportunities for Learning
- Public Programs: The Center cosponsors a variety of public programs on all aspects of South Asian culture, including concerts of music, dance, and drama, film festivals, and the weekly Geet Bazaar radio program. Check the Calendar for upcoming events or join the South Asia Events email distribution list.
- Colloquium, Seminars & Speakers: Educators are invited to attend the Center's colloquium series, workshops, and seminars.
- Study Abroad: Educators may enroll in the North Carolina State University "Summer in India" study abroad program for a direct experience of Indian culture, language, and literature.
- Community Organizations: South Asian community organizations in the Triangle area sponsor a number of cultural, literary, and educational programs; these are generally open to the public. Visit the organization websites for more informatoin.
