The DukeEngage program provides funding for Duke undergraduates who wish to pursue an intensive civic engagement experience anywhere in the world. Through DukeEngage, students apply what they have learned in the classroom to address societal issues at home or abroad.

An extraordinary fusion of engineers, scientists and physicians donating their time and talents to improve healthcare in disadvantaged areas around the world. EWH restores donated medical equipment and then delivers and installs it in a community in need; it provides ongoing support for this sophisticated technology by placing trained student volunteers in developing world hospitals.
