Michaeline A. Crichlow
Michaeline A. Crichlow, an historical sociologist, is associate professor in
the African and African American World Studies Program at Duke University. She is the author of Negotiating Caribbean Freedom: Peasants and the State in Development (2005), co-editor of Informalization: Process and Structure (2000). Her essays and reviews have appeared in several journals and anthologies including, Contours: A Journal of the African Diaspora, Latin American Perspectives, New West Indian Guide, Social and Economic Studies, and Identities.
