Sean Metzger
Sean Metzger is an Assistant Professor in the English and Theater Studies departments at Duke University, where he is also affiliated with the programs in Women’s Studies and Film/Video/Digital as well as the Asian/Pacific Studies Institute and the Institute for Critical US Studies. The author of several articles and reviews concerning film, performance, Asian/American articulation and sexuality in venues such as Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Theatre Journal and several anthologies, he is working on a manuscript called Looks Chinese: Fashioning Asian/American Spectatorship. Metzger also engages in theatrical practice and will participate as a director in Suzan-Lori Parks 365 Days/365 Plays.
