Please join fellow Unis Amy Flis, Palden Gyal and Maggie Love as they each give a brief presentation of their Summer Enrichment projects from the past summer followed by Q&A. This is ideal timing as Unis begin planning Summer Enrichment for this coming summer!
Amy will be sharing her work on “Comparative morphology of the patellofemoral joint across diverse large vertebrates to improve reconstructive knee surgery techniques in humans.”
Palden will be sharing his experience trying to go to Taiwan to study Chinese intensively and his back-up project once his initial plans fell through.
Maggie will be sharing her unpaid internship experience at The FreeStyle Life in New York City through the Duke in NY: Arts & Media summer program.
Following the presentations, Sam and Carlos will be sharing the grad mentors’ outline for the “Futures” symposium with the composition of the different groups. And Chris Williams will be soliciting assistance for the administrative aspect of symposium organization (advertising, catering, invitations, poster designs, etc.)
Please visit the USP Blog to catch up on symposium discussion!
